Problem: I bought CE0523 FSK key for Peugeot 5008 2014. It is not programmed yet to the car, checking it via Xhorse Mini Key Tool and frequency test. I have to click many times until it is recognized. Changed battery and behaves the same.

How to solve?
Citroen/Peugeot keys have 4 options – 0523 ASK or FSK (usually older model till 2006 but not always), 0526 ASK or FSK (after 2006).. If you have ordered the correct one it will work after programming if the key is not faulty like you said -> problem with reading frequency. You can try soldering the circuit board, maybe it will help.
The difference between ASk and FSK:
Read the frequency of the remote. It can be Ask or Fsk. If it is Fsk, you need to use Fsk aswell, otherwise remote won’t work. And vice versa for Ask.
Also, these 2 welding points make me doubt it’s new.
Advice: Next time you buy Xhorse Wireless Remote and program it, they work well.

Alright, sure I have wireless XE series, so in case those Peugeot won’t work properly, I will use xhorse.
