Today, Xhorse.co.uk is going to bring you the process of Saab 9-3 2006 Add Key using VVDI Prog+VVDI2 with an unlocked ID46 key.
EEPROM: 93LC66
Tool:
EEPROM adapter (included in package)
New key unlocked with transponder PCF 7946/ PCF 7936
1.Remove CIM module
Very tough job.
Start ESL>> Adjust steering wheel to show two back slots out>>Press clips inside to remove steering wheel’s cover
Disconnect car battery>>Remove horn.
Unscrew a fixing screw>>Remove steering wheel
Unscrew three screws>>Remove CIM module
De-solder chip
2.Key programming
Solder the chip to EEPROM adapter(or EEPROM socket), and install the socket into VVDI Prog.
Turn on VVDI Prog software,
Select
Type – 1-EEPROM&FLASH
Brand – MICROCHIP
Chip – 93C/LC/AA66A(8PIN)
“Read” “Verify” and “Save” immo data file.
Then turn on VVDI2 software,
Insert a new key into key slot.
Enter “Immobilizer” menu,
Select
Area – Euro, Factory – Saab
Car – 9-3, Type – 2003 – 93C66
Press “Load EEPROM dump file” and load the file we just read by VVDI Prog.
Select Not used key position and press
Make Dealer Key>>PCF 7936 (PCF 7946)
Prepare dealer key success.
Press “OK” to save new dump file.
Turn on VVDI Prog software again,
Open the new dump file and write it back to the chip.
Solder the chip back to CIM module and restore CIM to vehicle.
Done!
VVDI Prog supports 24AAXX, 24[L]CXX, 93[L]CX6 and 93AAX6 on microchip.
