2005 Saab 9-3 failed to add key ( I had correct pin code and working key ) Also tried write key by dump with Autel IM608 … to do with CIM with eeprom clip did not work failed.
Then, I used VVDI prog and VVDI 2 success. Was able to program Pod key and also used an XT27a super chip for testing to emulate an already programmed key slot success as well …VVDI prog with eeprom clip adaptor can read write in circuit no need to remove eeprom. Just make sure to short quartz crystal

Why short quartz crystal, to not wake processor? short with some tweezers or solder wire, or need to hook up with those two wires on vvdi prog clip, becide a eeprom clip?
