Programming key BMW E39 with EWS3 on the bench without an adapter, the job was done with Xhorse VVDI key tool plus.
And look at the wiring diagram.
Many locksmiths feedback Ak90 better, actually, I just show that key tool plus can do it…
For AK90, some old BMW’s use 1d47j or 2d47j chips that ak90 cannot read and can damage them… this is what I read on some forums… the keys can be programmed only with the chips off the board…
