Fixed! VVDI2 incorrectly calculates ISN in BMW EDC17CP09

Xhorse VVDI2

Xhorse VVDI2 incorrectly calculates ISN in BMW EDC17CP09 in ECU/CAS ISN –
E-Series ISN – EDC17x(16 Bytes)!!!

After reading EEPROM ECU using K-TAG in VVDI2 – File Make Key – CAS3+ (0L15Y, 0M23S) – Make Dealer Key – Have ECU dump file / no problem and gives the correct ISN.

There is an offset of 8 bytes to the beginning of the data. The last two pictures show everything. Guys from Xhorse, fix it.

01_ECU_EDC17CP09

02_Incorrect

03_Correct

04-offset of 8 bytes

Thanks to @ urshul feedback.

Update!
Failure with VVDI2 again. VVDI2 – Transponder Programmer – Euro – Mercedes Benz – Car-All Masksets – universal maker and old MB W210 with immo 5WK4 688 MC68HC705X32 (0D53J).
When uploading a file, we get an error: Unknown version!

Original Tango downloads this file without any problems and makes a transponder! Guys from Xhorse, fix it.

Reply:
I talked to their support about this before, a lot of brands on the transponder programmer part are doing that, if not all, it only works if you read the dump with vvdi prog or key tool plus or mini prog, dumps that were read with other devices are throwing that error.

And, next update will fix that problem.
