One customer gave feedback that there is an issue with his Dolphin XP-005. He cut three different types of keys but the new keys were obviously incorrect.
Key fob cut: Renault, Peugeot VA2, HU100 Opel.
Possible reason:
The sensors and the cables on part of the motors don’t function well.
How to Check?
Motor measurement.
In some cases, you may hear “X, Y, and Z-axis tests” or “Three axes tests”, actually all are the same, that is to test if axes would move.
But, you should care that don’t forget “Main axis test”.
On “Motor Measurement”, enter each menu, click on “Start test” and after it moves well click on “Cancel”.
Solution:
After motor measurement, Y, Z, and main axis move normally while X-axis doesn’t move.
So, this XP-005 key cutting machine needs to replace X-axis sensors or cables on it.
