Xhorse is bringing a new experience for MQB instrument data reading with a brand-new bundle of MQB35xx Soldering-free Adapters. Automotive locksmiths will no longer need to proceed with the intricate and annoying soldering, pin lifting, and wire cutting work. Next, we’re going to use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus to read D70F3524 as an example.
Eg. To read D70F3537, it does not require loading EEPROM 95320. But if reading D70F3524, it does require.
1. Read NEC35xx Chip
Immo programming >> VW >> Select by type >> MQB instrument immo system >> Instrument – MQB48(VDO/JCI-NEC35xx lock) >> Start programming
Read the disclaimer on the screen, and tap “OK”.
Make sure the network connection is normal, and tap “OK”.
Programmer reads files >> Read NEC35xx chip >> Adapter method >> D70F3524
Follow the diagram to connect the XDNP74GL Adapter & MQB dashboard.
1)Connect the adapter concerning the points.
2)Connect & apply the clips.
* Make sure the pin is aimed right at and keeps good contact with the points.
Otherwise, the following errors may occur:
– Crystal oscillator frequency configuration failed. There’s a problem with the contacts, please reinstall the adapter.
– Chip cracking failed. The contacts are loose or continue reading repeatedly.
3)Connect the adapter to the VVDI Key Tool Plus via DB15 cable and power it on.
Read >> Continue
Reading success, save the NEC35xx chip file.
2. Read EEPROM Data
Programmer reads files >> Read 95320 EEPROM >> Adapter method >> Read >> Continue
Reading success, save the EEPROM file.
*The saved immo data can be used to generate dealer key and learn key.
3. Load EEPROM 95320
Obtaining immo data >> Load NEX35xx chip file
Does this instrument type require external EEPROM 95320 to be loaded?
After 17 years of PASSAT(56D902861A/ 56D920871A/ 56D920871/ 56D920861), after 17 years of Beetle.
Select Yes to start loading external EEPROM data files.
Select No to start uploading data to the server.
In this case, we tap “Yes”.
Selected the saved EEPROM 95320 file.
Calculating will take about 5-10 minutes…
Just wait for processing completed.
