Today we’ll show the procedure before using the Xhorse Key Cutting Machine to complete the add key and all key lost for HU162T 8-cut, 9-cut, and 10-cut keys. The tutorial applies to machines such as Dolphin II, Condor XC-MINI Plus II, etc.
How to distinguish the HU162T 8-cut, 9-cut & 10-cut key?
As shown in the picture, the 8-cut has only 1 fixed cut on the side and is straight. The effective surface is on the top.
The 9-cut has 3 side cuts, and the effective surface is on the top.
The 10-cut has 4 side cuts, and the effective surface is on the bottom.
The operation process is demonstrated as follows.
HU162T 8-Cut Add Key
Enter Xhorse App: Cut by Bitting >> HU162T >> Silca – HU162T >> 8-1 Bitting
Read the prompts on the screen, and put the original key on the clamp according to the prompts.
Click “Decode key”.
We can select the A-axis or B-axis options in the upper left corner.
Switch to the B-axis key bitting page, the cut of the B-axis is fixed as the number 1 cut.
After decoding, you can cut your key.
HU162T 8-Cut All Keys Lost
For HU162T 8-cut all keys lost, you can use the 2-in-1 pick to read the key bitting or dismantle the lock to gain the lock plate number.
Then click on “All key lost calculation”, and enter the key bitting from 2-in-1 pick and lock plate number directly. No need to converse manually.
After entering, click on the “Calculate >> Complete >> Cut key”.
HU162T 9-Cut Add Key
The axis with the notch is the B-axis.
Cut by bitting >> HU162T >> Silca – HU162T >> 9-3-3 Bitting
Put the original key according to the prompts.
Click “Decode key”.
After decoding, you can cut your key.
Tips: After learning the A-axis bitting, the B- and C-axis bitting will be automatically calculated.
HU162T 9-Cut All Keys Lost
Tips: You can use the 2-in-1 pick to read the key bitting or dismantle the lock to gain the lock plate number. There are only 6 front cuts and 3-sided cuts in the lock. It’s not possible to get the complete bitting. Need to enter Xhorse APP to calculate it.

There are some missing locking plates in the door lock or ignition lock. So need to use the missing cut search function.
Click “All key lost calculation”.
You can choose “Door->Ignition” or “Ignition->Door”, depending on the actual situation.
Here’s taking “Door->Ignition” as an example, directly enter the bitting from 2-in-1 pick or the locking plate number into the front bitting plate. No need to converse manually. You can also directly enter the locking plate number into the-sided bitting.
If you read the bitting with a 2-in-1 pick, you can enter the sided bitting calculate option to calculate it. Click “Sided bitting calculate”. You need to manually select the angle before and after opening.
Tips: Read the non-elastic side before opening, and read the elastic side after opening.
Select the angle according to the actual situation. The bitting will be converted automatically. You can also get the cuts according to the reference table. After selecting, click OK.
Here the sided bitting is 123. Click “Calculate”, and then you can get all the bittings of the A, B, and C axis. After getting the results, click “Complete” and then begin key cutting.
HU162T 10-Cut Add Key
The operation is similar to 9-cut keys. The axis with a notch is B-axis
Cut by Bitting >> HU162T >> Silca – HU162T >> 10-4-4 Bitting
Put the original key on the clamp according to the prompts.
Click “Decode key”.
After decoding, you can cut your key.
Tips: After learning the A-axis bitting, the B- and C-axis bitting will be automatically calculated.
