Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Adds MINI Cooper BDC Key on Bench

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad can support to the program of a new BDC smart key for MINI Cooper on bench. The BDC module is on the left side of the vehicle. Having disassembled it from MINI Cooper, let’s start to program.

Connect BMW FEM-BDC Chip Adapter with module &Key Tool Plus, press
Immo programming >> Europe >> BMW >> Select from system >> FEM/BDC IMMO system >> Key function >> Start programming >> Read key information
It tells that prepare dealer key need to program BDC module firstly.

Program BDC Module
Programming FEM/BDC system >> Process Wizard mode >> Begin
Open FEM/BDC module, read EEPROM dump via programmer.
OK >> OK >> Yes

Start to read original 95128/95256 EEPROM data.
Please confirm to complete:
1. Disconnect FEM/BDC module power;
2. Disconnect the OBD connection between VVDI Key Tool Plus& module;
3. Connect the adapter
Click “OK” to continue.

Read >> Continue >> Save file
Read successfully.

OK >> Write >> Continue
Please restore FEM/BDC system, provide +12v and connect OBD.
Press “Yes” to continue.
It takes about 3 minutes to process…

Open FEM/BDC shell, write the original EEPROM data to 95128/95256 chip.
Follow the prompts to disconnect power again.

Write >> Continue
Write successfully.
Restore FEM/BDC system, power and connect OBD.

FEM/BDC programming success.
You can make new dealer key now!

Prepare Dealer Key
Read key information, it says this unit no need programming which means BDC module is unlocked.

Prepare dealer key with ignition switch >> Select a blank key position: key 3 >> Have a working key, use this key switch ignition on then click this item

Insert working key to ignition switch then press “OK”.
Record the key info, then press “OK”.
Insert the new key into ignition or keep it close to emergency start position of the vehicle.

Go to read key information again, the key 3 is occupied with ID now.
