What functions does VVDI Key Tool Plus have? Read this post carefully and you will find the answer.
Switch on Key Tool Plus, and we can see its main operation interface. We’ll talk about these functions one by one.
1. Immo Programming
Click “Immo Programming”, then we can see it supports plenty of car models, including luxury cars like Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Bentley as well as ordinary cars like Dodge, Ford, Chrysler and so on. You can search by the car name or directly choose.
Now, let’s access “VW”>>“Select by type”>>“MQB instrument immo system”. Now we can see it supports adding keys for MQB 49 system.
Next, let’s click “BMW”>>“Select from the system”>>“CAS4/CAS4+ immo system”>>“Key function”.
Before you program the key, you can check the key function first. It tells you the steps about programming, prepares dealer key, erase key, and enable key etc.
And let’s see Mercedes-Benz. Choose “Select from system”>>“EIS Tools”>>“Begin”, then it can automatically detect the EIS type, or you can directly choose the type.

Then, prepare the key file, it supports key dumps in three formats, V41, V51, and V11. We recommend you to use V51 because it has high compatibility.
2. Transponder Clone
Key Tool Plus supports transponder clone, you can place the transponder in the detection coil. Now, it supports “ID46 online calculation”, ID48(96bit) online calculation, “Toyota H(8A) online calculation” and so on.
3. Generate Transponder
If you want to generate ID46(PCF7936), click “ID46(PCF7936)”, then you will enter the page of generating ID46(PCF7936).
If you want to generate ID48 transponder, you can click “ID48”, then you will enter the page of generating ID48 transponder.
4. Remote Program
It supports general remotes for plenty of car models like BMW, Ford, KUGA, Land Rover and so on.
5. Prog
It can read different types of EEPROM and FLASH data via an EEPROM adapter.
Enter “Immo”>>“BMW”, then we can see it supports different systems, including CAS3/CAS3+, CAS4/CAS4+ and so on.
Click “ECU”, then you can read data of BMW engine.
Click the “Other” menu, you can find FRM of BMW.
6. Cutting Key
Key Tool Plus can work as the operation screen to control Xhorse cutting machines like Condor, Dolphin, and Panda.
Choose “Vehicle Database”, and then choose the car model, say, “Dodge”, then you can check the key blank types it supports.
You can also do the following things:
cut by biting, universal key duplication, all key lost, find bitting, customize key data and see machine parameter.
7. OBD diagnostic
The function has just been released and will be improved gradually.
On the bottom of the screen, you can click shortcut key icons to use other functions like “AI Query”, “Remote Clone”, “Immo Data Tool”, “Special Functions” or “My Favorite”.
