Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max + MINI OBD Tool can program a new spare key for 2006 Peugeot 407 via OBD successfully. Finish in 2 steps: including free immo password reading & key programming.
Following is the operation procedure:
Workable remote: Peugeot 0523 NB multifunction ASK
Plug MINI OBD Tool into OBD interface.
Then connect to VVDI Key Tool Max via Bluetooth.
Step1. Read IMMO Password
Immo programming >> Peugeot >> Password reading >> Type 1 CAN(all keys lost or adding) >> Start execution >> IMMO password reading
This function will cause wiper to move, which is normal. Press “OK”.
Please turn on the double flash indicator.
Please open then close the driver door once.
Possible PIN: FD2J
Password was read out.
Step2. Program Key
Go back to
Immo programming >> Peugeot >> Select by model >> 407 >> Key programming >> Start execution >> Key programming
Switch ignition to ON position.
Enter password: FD2J, press “OK”.
The number of system existing IMMO key: 2
The number of remote key: 2
Press “Yes” to continue.
Switch ignition off. Press “OK”.
Insert the key to be programmed and switch ignition on within 15s!
Current key match successfully!
The number of system existing IMMO key: 1
The number of remote key: 1
Press “Yes” to match next one.
Switch ignition off and remove this key. Press “OK”.
Insert the key to be programmed and switch ignition on within 15s!
Current key match successfully!
The number of system existing IMMO key: 2
The number of remote key: 2
Press “No” to complete.
Steps to reprogram the remote:
1. Turn off the ignition switch and remove the key.
2. Insert a key. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. In 20s, press any buttons of remote for 10s.
Test the new key, remote works well.
Done.
