Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus is able to program a new key for the 2017 Jeep Compass via OBD quickly in 5 minutes. Here I have a working key and XM38 Universal Key to show you as follow:

Switch the ignition off, and turn on the security warning light(double flashlights).
Please make sure there are no wireless devices near the smart key.
Please input a 5-digit password.
Within 60s, approach the Universal Smart Key that needs to be matched to the central console(or start button), then press and release the unlock button of the key once, wait for 5s, and do not press any button during this period.
Note: The new key must be the original key of the current model, otherwise it may fail.
Current number of keys: 3
Match successfully.
Program completed!
Test the new key, it can work well.
