The MQB key function has officially launched. To calculate immo data, simply use your Xhorse MLB Tool with the dedicated MQB Adapter. No dashboard disassembly is required to effortlessly add MQB48 keys.
Let’s demonstrate using an Audi Q2L as an example.
1. Read IMMO Data
1) Open the software and switch to MQB mode. Locate the corresponding wiring diagram.
2) Remove the capacitor from the original keyboard, solder it to the cable, and secure it. Install the MQB adapter and place the key in the recognition area.
3) Connect the MLB Tool device to your computer.
Click “Identify Key”, then “Collect Key Data”.
The system will automatically upload it for server calculation.
Confirm verification when prompted and save the immo data file.
2. Make Dealer Key
Open the engine hood and connect a tablet like Key Tool Plus.
Immo programming >> Audi >> Select by type >> MQB instrument immo system >> Instrument – NEC35xx(Continental/VDO) >> Start programming >> Generate dealer key – Load immo data
Audi >> Prepare normal dealer key >> OK >> Yes >> Add key – You should have a working key
Input original working key to coil slot, press OK.
Press Yes to save the synchronized data.
Input the new key into the coil slot and press OK.
Prepare dealer key success!
Please learn the new dealer key to the car!
3. Learn Key
Learn key >> Yes >> Program keys, get the login code from immo data to login
Learn the key and get the login code from the immo file to log in. Insert the key into the ignition switch according to the prompt, you need to prepare all the keys of the car; the key that has not learned will not be able to start the car.
Press Yes.
Input learning key number: 3
Load the immo data file.
Is the new key with keyless? Yes
Bring the first key near the sensing area and confirm.
Repeat for the second and third keys.
Warning: before learning is completed, please do not turn off the ignition(Do not press the start button)!!!
Programming complete.
All remote and smart functions work normally.
Important Note:
1. Incorrect capacitor removal will cause the MQB chip to become unrecognized, resulting in failed data collection.
2. The capacitor must be reinstalled after data collection is completed, otherwise, the key cannot be programmed back into the car.
