The original Mercedes-Benz W204 C300 ME9.7 ECU is burned out and needs to be replaced. So next I’m gonna renew a second-hand ECU with the correct hardware number by Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus.
After completing the connection, let’s get started:
Immo programming >> Europe >> Benz >> Select from system >> Engine/ Gearbox/ ISM >> Start programming >> ECU >> Read
Save data file.
Here “Personalized” & “Activated” info are YES.
Renew >> Load HASH file >> OK >> Get the erase password
Wait communicating with the server…
The erased password has been read out.
Renew >> Confirm Erase Pass.
Erase target unit success.
Go back to read ECU again.
As you can see, the “Personalized” & “Activated” info are NO now.
That means resetting Mercedes ECU with VVDI Key Tool Plus successfully.
After the reset, install the ECU back into the car to carry out training for personalization and activation. Then the car can start and run.
