Network: Stable Wi-Fi for online PIN calculation.
Code: 6-digit security PIN (retrieved during the process).
Step 1: Retrieve the PIN Code
1. Select Vehicle: Go to Immo Program > KIA > Carnival > Read PIN Code> Password Reading (ID 4A smart key) >> Start Programming >> Read PIN code
2. Trigger System: Turn the ignition OFF, then ON. (If all keys are lost, turn on hazard lights and cycle the driver’s door once).
3. Save Code: Record the 6-digit PIN displayed on the screen.
Step 2: Program the Smart Keys
1. Enter Programming: Select from model > China market > Carnival > 2021-(4th generation) >Smart Key Programming, and enter the 6-digit PIN.
2. Preparation: Turn ignition OFF and open/close the driver’s door once.
3. The “Touch” Method: Within 5 seconds of clicking “OK,” use the top of the smart key to physically press the vehicle’s Start/Stop button.
4. Success: The dashboard will flash, and the tool will show “Programming Successful”.
5. Add More: Repeat the touch step for any additional remotes immediately.
Step 3: Verification
Test all remote buttons (Lock, Unlock, Power Doors).
Ensure the vehicle starts without the key touching the button.
Pro Tip: All existing keys must be present during programming; any key not registered during this session will be deactivated.
