This is a tutorial on how to program Volkswagen Arteon MQB48 all keys lost with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus step by step. Total 3 steps: we’ll need to acquire the vehicle data first, then send it to the third-party for online calculation. Finally, we can use the calculated files for key programming.
Step1. Read Immo Data
1) Switch ignition on.
2) This car has the kessy control. Remove the connector from the kessy control and connect connect jumper cable to PIN27, PIN30 & PIN35.
3) Connect Key Tool Plus to car OBD to collect data.
Immo programming >> Europe >> VW >> Select by type >> MQB instrument immo system >> Instrument – NEC35xx(Continental/VDO) >> Start programming >> Calculate online >> Get vehicle data >> Instrument – MQB48 immo system
This function will read vehicle information data and save it locally, user can use this file to send it to other people who can do online to get immo data.
Press OK.
Note: Please turn on the double flash lamps and step on the brake a few time to activate the system if all keys lost, otherwise data collection may failure!
Click OK to continue after completing…
Save the file.
Disconnect jumper cables and install back everything normally.
Step2. Get Immo data
Connect Key Tool Plus to the PC with a USB cable.
The file is saved in: Internal shared storage >> com.xhorse.assembly >> share >> VAG >> IMMO_DATA >> Date
Please send this file to the third party for online calculation service.
After getting the MQB files, copy them into the same folder as the original file.
Go back to the car for key programming.
Step3. Program Key
Remote Program >> Europe >> VW >> MQB remote/KeylessGo 434M >> Generate
Burn success.
Immo programming >> Europe >> VW >> Select by type >> MQB instrument immo system >> Instrument – NEC35xx(Continental/VDO) >> Start programming >> Generate dealer key – Load immo data >> Selected immo data file >> VW >> Prepare normal dealer key >> OK >> Yes >> All keys lost – You should have the synchronize data >> Selected sync data file
Input the new key into the VVDI Key Tool Plus device programmer.
Prepare dealer key success! Please learn the new dealer key to the car!
Hold the key near the coil and continue the programming operation.
More functions >> Immo status
Caution: Please DO NOT continue unless you can see “Yes” here. Otherwise, the programming process won’t be completed. Keep moving your key next to the coil till you get “Yes” in the Dealer Key section.
Open Hazard warning lights.
Open and close any door to wake up the car.
Learn key >> Yes >> Program keys, get the login code from immo data to log in
Learn the key, and get the login code from the immo file to log in. Insert the key into the ignition switch according to the prompt, you need to prepare all the keys of the car, the key that is not learned will not be able to start the car.
Press Yes.
Input learning key number: 1
Selected immo data file.
Is the new key keyless? Yes
We can see the key has been added to the dashboard.
All keys were successfully learned.
Test the new key, it can work.
Done.
